Always ask!

There was a time in my life that I would have been waaay too embarrassed to ask for discounts. Not anymore! Yesterday I needed to get some tennis shoes. I checked my coupon book and I had a $10 off coupon for Rack Room Shoes. I don't really like that store though, so I called Shoe Carnival and asked the manger if he would accept the coupon. He said yes!! And, Shoe Carnival is having a buy one get one half price sale so I was able to buy two pair of name brand tennis shoes for $57! My total before the sale and coupon was $80.

I also made a trip to JC Penney to pick up a few things. I know they regularly issue coupons, but I didn't have any with me. So, you guessed it, I asked the cashier if she had any extra coupons that I could use. She did! She gave me a coupon for $10 off my order! Just for asking. So... always ask! ◦
