Angel Food Ministries

Have you heard of Angel Food Ministries? I'd heard of it before, but when a reader recently suggested this as a blog post, I decided to research it further. Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing food relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. They sell a medium sized box of food each month for $30. According to the site, the retail value of the items in the box is approximately $60. Also, something I thought was interesting is that for senior citizens, you can get 10 pre-cooked meals for $28! You simply heat and eat!

There are no income qualifications for this program.
