Ya'll know I get excited about cheap school/office supplies :)
The deals start Sunday 7/11 at Staples! There are a couple penny deals (including pocket folder & pencils) that are valid with a $5 purchase. You can also get a ream of copy paper for a penny after rebate. (Penny deals are only valid through Wednesday.) There are also several dollar items (highlighters, dry erase boards, pens, glue sticks, etc.). Other supplies, such as backpacks, are also on sale.
Several of these limit the amount you can buy. HOWEVER.... for teachers there is usually an increased limit. Last year the limit was 25 (I know because I was behind a teacher in line and overheard the conversation). If they offer teachers the same limit this year that means teachers will be able to get 200 pencils for .25 cents!!! You might want to call before you shop to make sure your store is offering the increased limit for teachers. Also, make sure you bring a school ID or paystub or some proof of being a teacher to get the increased limit.
